The gameplay will differ a lot, as Riot recognizes that the needs of mobile players vary greatly compared to those on the PC. Unlike other games, Valorant Mobile won’t be crossplay since Riot isn’t trying to mix PC players with those playing its mobile version. The developer also stressed that while the mobile version of the game would be different from Valorant on PC, that the competitive experience will remain the same. The executive producer said that the mobile version should be ready in the second full year of Valorant, which would be 2022. The exact date isn’t known yet, but Riot Games’ Anna Donlon shared that it’s currently under development. Valorant Mobile is likely coming out in the second half of 2022 or 2023.
